Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 9, 2026

Yoruki ("the Service") is operated by Triangle IT Solutions LLC ("we", "us"), an Arizona limited liability company. Yoruki exists so you can communicate anonymously with other people — so collecting as little as possible about you is not just policy, it's the product. This document explains exactly what we collect, why, and who can ever see it.

What we collect

What we do NOT collect

How messages are moderated

Usernames and the first message of each new conversation are screened by an automated AI moderation system before delivery. Content that violates our rules (threats, hate, exploitation and similar) is blocked. Ongoing conversations are not routinely read by humans; reported conversations may be reviewed to act on the report.

Who we share data with

Other users: never. Your phone number and any account details are never revealed to other users — anonymity is the core of the Service.

Law enforcement: only under valid legal process. We disclose account data only when required by a subpoena, court order, warrant or equivalent legal obligation, and only to the extent required. Where the law allows, we will notify you before disclosing.

Service providers: we use infrastructure vendors to run Yoruki — database hosting (Neon), SMS delivery and phone verification (Twilio), push notifications (Expo), AI moderation (Anthropic), and subscription management (RevenueCat). Each receives only what it needs to perform its function.

SMS and opt-out

If someone sends an anonymous message to your phone number, we send you one SMS telling you a message is waiting. Reply STOP to that message and your number is permanently added to our do-not-contact list — no user can cause Yoruki to text you again. Reply START to undo.

Data retention and deletion

Messages are retained until you delete your account. To delete your account and its data, contact support@yoruki.app from the device with your account. Opt-out records are kept permanently (they're what keeps your number from being contacted). We may retain data where required by law.

Children

Yoruki is not for anyone under 17. We do not knowingly collect data from children; if we learn we have, we delete the account.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and stored with access controls. No system is perfectly secure; we notify affected users of any breach as required by law.

Changes

We will post changes here and update the date above. Material changes will be announced in the app.
